Our “BE GREEN” Checklist is all about tips to help you save as much energy as you can in every way that you can. This way you’ll save money too.

 

Our first “Be Green” Tip is to make sure you are having the maintenance performed on your HVAC system. If it has not been maintained, it is not running efficiently and using more energy, thereby costing you more money.

It’s very important to stop heat and air-conditioning from leaking out of your house by making sure everything is sealed up. You can check for leaks by using an incense stick or candle flame by your door and window seals. Seal any leaks that you find. Checks for cracks in your attic and basement. Seal them and then add insulation if needed. Draft stoppers under doors make a difference too.
